I read an article in Principia Scientific International some time ago that proposes that it is the wavelength of light that is constant, not the speed. If the wavelength is constant, then time and frequency remain the inverse of each other … but not only is the speed of light not constant, but neither is time.
I’ve long questioned the “constant-ness” of the speed of light – perhaps it’s constant because we claim it is and measure against it. I’ve not indulged in the proper study to properly question such things, nor have I studied the math necessary to suggest a serious rebuttal.
In spite of my thoughts on the matter, I didn’t think about this postulation.
I suspect there may be flaws in Dr. Galluci’s theory, but regardless – Interesting.
Read the (not mine) article.
